About Us

Who are we?

Haxton Developments Ltd was established in 2013 by James Haxton.

James started working on historic listed building in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park from a very early age helping his Mother renovate and convert an old Farm stead in Gillamoor using traditional methods at the same time as retaining their rustic character and charm.

James went on to complete a Business Degree at Newcastle University. Upon leaving University James returned to follow his passion of renovating and breathing new life into old traditional buildings. Quickly becomming a heritage building restoration specialist.

Over the years he has built around him a team that work to his very exacting standards, producing workmanship of the highest quality by using both traditional and modern methods of construction.
